After a long and tiring motorcycle tour, this is perhaps the best place to relax. The “Geometrical Thermal Baths” are one of the most spectacular hot springs in the region. They are located on the southeast side of the Villarrica volcano. Access is from Coñaripe towards the northeast. The first seven kilometers are asphalted, followed by another nine kilometers of gravel road, until you reach the thermal baths. After parking your vehicle in the large parking lot, you come to the entrance of a gorge, where the ticket office is located. Depending on the time of day, admission costs around $48 for adults and around $30 for children. You are given a padlock to lock your clothes in one of the numerous lockers. You then continue on wooden walkways over the stream.
The complex is wonderfully integrated into the overwhelming natural surroundings. There are 18 different pools. The temperatures vary, on average around 45 degrees. Some are closed because they are too hot. At the end of the wooden walkway you reach a large waterfall where you can cool off again. A visit to this hot spring is highly recommended. !
